GBC is a Coalition of more than 220 companies united to keep the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria a global priority.  The Coalition’s members share learnings from the front lines of the fight, and GBC provides tailored support so that companies can take an active role in defeating the pandemics.   GBC also organizes collective actions among companies, and links the public and private sectors in ways that pool talents and resources.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and UN Special Envoy to Stop TB Jorge Sampaio will be among the honored guests at the 2008 GBC Awards for Business Excellence Gala.  The Gala will coincide with the UN’s High-Level meeting on AIDS, and many visiting dignitaries will join us for a reception and dinner. Singer/actress Queen Latifah – international AIDS ambassador, Academy Award nominee and Grammy Award winner – will host the evening. GBC will also convene top business leaders for the 2008 technical sessions, focused on measuring performance and communicating impact.
