"Tools" we provide range from case studies and program templates to roundtables and events that are designed both to exchange experiences and equip participants to take action.
Roundtables and Working Groups
Many tools and agendas are co-created in real timethrough roundtables and working groups. The dynamic of multiple members with varying experiences working together in one place at one time is powerful.
Roundtables are disease-, industry-, or geography-focused (sometimes more than one of these simultaneously). Roundtables and similar events are open to all Coalition members. These events focus on information exchange, individual action planning and networking.
Working groups, which are guided by specific charters, bring together competitors and, typically, other stakeholders such as suppliers. These groups work together to define specific courses of action and to create tools for achieving common goals.
Coalition Connections Teleconferences
Periodic teleconferences enable members to meet leaders from the public health community and government and to receive guidance on critical subjectsprogram implementation success factors, the evolving global public health agenda, applying new science, and the professional development of you and your team.
Teleconferences have included partners such as the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, heads of U.N. agencies, senior foundation executives, business leaders and others.

The GBC Online Workspace
GBC's online workspace organizes all of our publications and tools, expert advice, member experiences and related articles according to industry, region, disease and intervention type. We have also begun rolling out a series of e-learning modules that brief you on key challenges, and coach you through the fundamental steps required to address those challenges.
In 2009, GBC will also be piloting a series of online information exchange forums for members and partners. We will use those forums to experiment with knowledge co-creation, to enable members and partners to create new ideas and solutions by building on each other's knowledge and experience.
