Gaobang Latex Products Manufacture(formerly Guilin Latex Factory) is located by Peach-Flower Brook in west Guilin, where is adjacent to the reed flute cave. The factory was initially found by former State Chemical Engineering Ministry. Now it's a state second grade enterprise specializing in manufacturing condom as well as the location of China Latex Association.

At present the manufacture owns over 1,000 staffs wherein technicians accounts for 30%. Its total area cover 120,000 square meters and yearly row latex consumption is 2,000 tons. As such the manufacture is concluded as a center for latex product exportation with its annual output value close to 100 million RMB.

Gaobang brand (also Osmanthus brand) condom series is the main products of the manufacture, whose annual production capacity amounts to 400 million units. The series includes four sub-assortments respectively as medicament type, smooth-surface type, alternative type and entertainment type. Project P12, which was backed by United Nations Population Funds involved Gaobang too, finished in 1995.

The techniques regarding manufacturing, test, and management system tops international level while the products must undergo rigorous examinations according to national standard and international standard. For consecutive six years the products has been verified by State Family Planning Committee as quality products. Furthermore, the products gained the approvals by ISO, ASTM, WHO, GB as well as EN. To jointly develop Aishi brand condom, UN Population Funds and State Family Planning Committee select Gaobang Manufacture as the base for the project after relentless screening.

Besides, the qualified products of Gaobang also include surgery glove, examinational glove( including powder- attached type and non-powder type), household glove, industrial glove, labour-protecting gloves, balloon, tube, and sponge wares.
