ELIZABETH SORENSEN

Prior to joining GBC, Elizabeth was Head of Human Resources at Pfizer’s Research and Development Lab in Groton, Connecticut. During her time at Pfizer, Elizabeth spent 5 months as a Global Health Fellow in GBC/TPAA’s Moscow office, where she guided a business planning process, developed and implemented a Performance Management Process, and provided training and development sessions for both the Moscow and Kyiv staff members. Shortly after her return from that assignment, Elizabeth retired from Pfizer and began consulting with GBC, which led to her joining the organization in January, 2008. In addition, Elizabeth spent 28 years with Aetna, Inc., in Hartford, Connecticut, in various positions including Head of Staffing for the Financial Division, Head of HR for Small Business and Specialty Products Divisions, and HR Lead for Aetna’s 15,000-person Member Services Group. She is a graduate of Trinity College, Hartford and the Executive HR Program at University of Michigan.
