
JIMMY LEE
Associate Vice President of Regional Strategy & Coordination
As the Associate Vice President of Regional Strategy & Coordination, Jimmy manages strategic planning for GBC regional offices in Europe, Asia and Africa. His key areas of focus are the effective coordination of global efforts, developing efficient support structures to build GBC's regional presence, and leading initiatives in new regions.
Before joining GBC in 2006, Jimmy was a Director of Strategic Planning & Business Analysis at GBC member American Express. In this capacity, he led the business case development for new products and advised company executives on long-term strategy.
Prior to his employment at American Express, he was a Director at World Vision's New York office, where he led strategic planning, directed the Hope HIV/AIDS initiative, and managed the organization's response to the September 11th tragedies.
Jimmy was also a Senior Associate in J.P. Morgan's investment banking division. In this role he structured, negotiated, and executed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financings for media companies. He started his career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Company.
Jimmy received a B.A. in Sociology from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
