Bryant Hilton - Corporate Affairs, Dell

Bryant Hilton of Dell's Corporate Affairs department talks with Business Action about his company's innovative HIV/AIDS initiatives, including the importance of employee engagement, and the potential for technological interventions to scale up the global fight.

Dell is actively involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS through a range of initiatives leveraging its technological competencies and its far-reaching employee network and supply chain. Most recently, Dell joined the (PRODUCT) RED campaign along with Microsoft, and is now marketing (RED) computer products-a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The company is also partnering with Intel, Warner Bros. Entertainment and PEPFAR on the new Challenge AIDS: Playing for Life initiative - - borne out of the Technology and AIDS working group, co-convened by GBC - - which will create video games with HIV/AIDS messaging, aiming for positive behavior change among young men.
