GBC Magazine to Showcase New Strategy

Publication to Enhance Company Action

The February issue of GBC's magazine, Business Action, will give readers a real-world manual in the corporate effort to fight AIDS, TB, and malaria. Infused with rigorous journalism cast specifically at what most directly concerns GBC members, the magazine is designed to address our members' most pressing questions: how to accurately identify areas most in need and how to build programs that are most effective.

Echoing GBC's newly honed strategy for battling AIDS, TB, and malaria, Business Action investigates new models in cutting-edge corporate programs-including the development of education technologies relevant to vulnerable children, and how Pfizer turbo-charged its giving program by collaborating with its partner organizations in Africa, enabling it to contribute the full breadth of its employee know-how. Other articles cast a light on neglected targets in this fight - such as drug-using populations in the former Soviet Union and the feminization of HIV/AIDS in the developing world.

Business Action has always been a top source for information on the the private sector effort against AIDS, TB and malaria. Our next issue will also provide a practical roadmap for corporations trying to find actionable solutions to three of the world's deadliest epidemics.
